Sarah Turner has been recognized as a professional in the field of sports medicine for over 9 years and is a Board-Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). She discovered her love of sports medicine in high school after an unfortunate shoulder injury during her volleyball season, landed her weeks in rehab with her physical therapist and athletic trainer.  She is a Wisconsin native, having grown up in Green Bay just miles from the famed Lambeau Field. She graduated from Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI) in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training.

She earned her Masters degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Sports Psychology from California Southern University (Irvine, CA) in the spring of 2013. Additionally she has completed numerous internships with teams and organizations including one with Stanford University’s Football Program.

As Director of Education, Sarah helps design and structure the curriculum for our TPS Internship Program.  The program introduces the core principles in Sports Medicine and Performance Training through textbook and live practical applications within the TPS training facility and/or in the field.  Sarah also heads up our TPS S.M.A.R.T. Life youth mentoring program, which aims to connect, embrace and empower youth to make the decision to TurnPRO in every aspect of their lives.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband Markus and sons Jeremiah, Isaiah, Micaiah, and Noah.  She also loves being active, writing, and watching sports, especially the Packers and Marquette basketball!
